Fairview Youth

Fairview’s mission is to nurture lives to stand in Christ at every step, and we believe this means that every student should be actively seeking to nurture and be nurtured in Christ no matter where they are in faith or life.

We are convinced that this mission is best accomplished through the strategy, worship - develop - serve. This strategy calls every Fairview covenant partner (member) to (1) regularly worship God on Sunday mornings and through the week, (2) regularly develop as a disciple through one of our ministries (adult ministries are listed below) and/or through a discipleship relationship, and (3) regularly serve Fairview as well as the surrounding community and world.

Youth Group is Fairview Youth’s weekly big group gathering. We start with hangout and organized games, participate in a Bible teaching, and finish out in small groups of 4-8 students led by our youth leaders.

Youth Retreats are times for us to get away and focus on the things that matter but often get lost in the busyness of life. They’re about building real community—getting to know others and being known by them. They’re about fun. And they’re about being intentional with God and our own souls. Our retreat schedule has varied with fall, winter, and summer retreats at different points. Get in touch with us for this year’s retreat schedule!

Confirmation is the process by which youth become covenant partners (members) of Fairview, and it instructs teens in the core beliefs of Christianity and our Reformed heritage. The process concludes with a formal declaration of faith before Fairview’s elders and with the teens’ confirmation as covenant partners of the church and baptism (if not already baptized).
